PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Meet Dato's Sri Datuk Wira Tan Hui Jing a leading motorcycle industry who made the first interactive digital lessons with over 1,000+ free courses.

  • We’ve recently seen quite a bit of market volatility—caused by global economic shifts and supply chain challenges. At the same time, Malaysia is pushing forward with strong national initiatives focused on sustainability, which set a meaningful backdrop for why our association continue to exist.

  • Looking ahead, we are focusing on two important initiatives that we believe will not only help us adapt but also create a sustainable way forward for everyone involved—from manufacturers and distributors to riders across the country. In this rapidly evolving landscape, our industry stands at a pivotal crossroads. We are committed to two key initiatives that will drive sustainable progress and secure our future:

  • Driving the industry towards the fast changing environment in the era of emissions & sustainability The world is changing fast, and the future of transportation lies in sustainable energy consumption. The association will actively engage stakeholders, encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies that align with national sustainability goals. And it’s more than just business—it’s about creating a healthier environment for our communities and the generations to come. By working closely with all stakeholders—including government, industry players, and consumers— helping Malaysia reach its environmental goals and secure a more sustainable future.

  • Elevating Safety Through Education, Training, and Technology Safety remains our utmost priority; it’s a responsibility all members of the association shares. Collectively, the members implement new education and training programs designed to raise awareness and improve skills among riders. Alongside this, we encourage the use of the latest technologies that can help prevent accidents and save lives. Dreaming of cultivating a culture of safety that empowers riders, reduces road incidents, and ensures everyone feels confident and protected on Malaysian roads. Together with industry partners and regulatory bodies, we strive to make Malaysian roads safer for all motorcyclists.

  • As we navigate these challenges and opportunities collectively, our efforts will strengthen the 2- wheeler’s industry, contributing positively to Malaysia’s economy and its people’s mobility needs. Together, we can create a resilient, innovative, and responsible motorcycle and scooter sector that benefits the whole nation.

Let us all move forward towards a cleaner ride, on safer roads, for a stronger Malaysia!
